Who doesn't want a word from God? To hear him speak is powerful. And if he can give us a "now" word, even better. A word that is for right now, right here; a word that is relevant, powerful, and needed - give me some of that. Well, here are two "now" words from God. These are relevant, helpful, and life altering!

Romans 8:1 says, "There is therefore NOW no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus..." Did you get that? When is there no condemnation? Right now, if you are in Christ. And this is SO relevant because Paul goes on in the verses that follow to explain how knowing this frees us to walk in the Spirit rather than in the flesh. Believing that there is no condemnation right now. You are accepted by God right now through faith in Christ. If you ever wake up wondering, "Am I okay?" This verse gives us the resounding answer "YES!" God is for you NOW - there is no condemnation for those who are connected to Jesus in faith. Lean into this truth today and walk in the Spirit.

Here's another now word. Galatians 2:20 says, "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I NOW live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me." How does Christ live in us? By living a life of faith right now - faith that believes that Jesus loves us and gave himself for us on the cross. Do you believe this? Not in some passive, non-thinking way. I mean, does this truth inform your life? If so, Christ will powerfully live through you and it will show. The one who loved us and gave himself for us will live that way through us - self giving and loving.

Lean into these now words from God. Is there anything more relevant than no condemnation in a world full of accusation? Is there anything more life changing than having the One who loves and gives (Christ) living that way through us? This is now for you. Go for it!
